In 2011, I began participating in the Brooklyn Art Library's annual Sketchbook Project. Artists around the world sign up to receive a small sketchbook, which we then fill based upon our chosen theme. The books are collected and digitized, then taken on a world tour before permanently residing in the Brooklyn Art Library.
Creating has been a lifelong endeavor, but in the last year or so, I have started sharing those creations with the world. Visit my Etsy store to see my creativity at work outside of the digital realm.
I love creating. That creativity takes many different forms at a given time: Web and graphic design, traditional and digital art, writing, crafts, I've done it all, and successfully so. Every day, whether at work or at play, I find a way to let my creative side shine. In that way, my work is also my play.
I began designing and building websites at age 16, by teaching myself to hand-code HTML. Over time, I continued picking up web design skills from various sources and incorporating them into any design work I was doing. I've designed for churches, schools, and professional organizations, as well as various incarnations of my personal and professional websites.
